Reminiscent of fiber art and basketry, Reed Tones upholstery elevates the simplicity of an up-the-roll stripe into a textural, tactile design. To weave this fabric, four different yarns were used, including North American wool, recycled cotton and polyester, and woven on a double beam construction. Eleven warp colors of various thicknesses within each colorway create Reed Tones’ signature subtle pattern fluctuation. The corded appearance features raised and recessed channels, creating a multi-faceted surface across the 26” horizontal repeat, allowing the rhythm and energy of the stripe to take hold. Due to its detailed and complex color narrative, Reed Tones can effortlessly initiate a palette for various design schemes.
